Outing with JJSG

Got home from chill out, and while waiting for my hair to dry, took some time to blog.

Was out with JJSG, and went to watch spiderman 3.. whoa, it was super nice! Not much romance, but nice nevertheless. We were seated on the 4th and 5th row, so it was very near the screen. Just like sitting at the front row during lectures, the line of vision was rather narrow. Hahaha.. and so for most part of the movie, i was trying to catch what was happening at different sections of the screen. LOL.. but it was pretty near, and so can see very clearly even without my contact lenses.

Speaking of contact lense, i'm damn dl lor.. for much of what i've opened, there are cracks here and there.. darn.. next time don't choose that brand le.

LOL.. back to today's activity.. after the show, went dinner and chilling out. Went the Pump Room and we all shared 7 liters of beer! LOL.. that is, the equillivant of 14 large bottle of beer. LOL.. it was super cheap for a 3.5l tower. It cost $56, but the best was, from 11am-3pm.. it cost $22! Wahahahaa... darn cheap leh! If on budget, got time to spare, and having a preference for beer, you could try the pump room. However, the taste is somewhat unique for its brew.. but there are other beer such as hoegaardens.. and its finger food is very economical for its serving.. very generous indeed.

So today, it was and outing to pre-celebrate celine's bday.. and as usual, with live band, beer and such, it was time for bday "sabo". LOL.. don't know who made the request, bday girl ended up on stage singing for the patrons. She sang "ting hai", and the live band, being other ethnic, was very capable of filling in for our bday girl.. i was very impressed.

And when "creep" came, it was somehow back to my jamming days. Days of memories and all.. very nice indeed. The song was very nice too. Halfway, the band invited the patrons to sing, and whoa.. someone went up on the stage, and sang very well too. So well till he got an encore. LOL.. and as if he was there to "ti guang".

Haha.. overall, it was some very nice memory to have, the movie and the chill out place.. haha.. and it came just right to de-stress me during the exams period. I guess, one had to be the best one can be.. if not, it doesn't justify doing, and just like our band performance, if once could settle for a half f job, there wouldn't be improvement.. and so this time round, i'm seeking a "good progress award".. need to challenge myself once again.. i think i've been too laid back too much..
