One Xmas Weekend

Darn.. i got grounded by the village chief! Monday morning, no lessons, no electricity, no Maple. The Village undergoing a minor upgrading.. rewiring. Sigh.. This is no small project, especially when the people do half-F job. And one of the worker really cmi.. thinks he's very good like that.. i say he kns la. Don't know how to do the heater.. and the whole village had cold showers for the past 2 days. And this came as a surprise when i returned home from ktv on Saturday night.

If i'm a quilified electrician, i rather do the wiring myself... they really did a bad job.. cracked tiles, split casing, dented pots.. and so on.. ya.. plus the mess they have created.


This is how it looks like.. (thought we were celebrating xmas in advance with all the red and green.. lol) And ya.. there goes my new coat of paint.. what a wasted effort. =(

And so.. they will continue today.. but i doubt they can finish.. argh!

It was a contrast with last weekend.. went to school to "study"... end up only doing a bit of POA.. coz was with the TS gang.. haha.. nothing but TS in school. But it beats mapling at home.. lol. Studied till 5pm before moving off to mac with geoff, allan bt, brad, zhengqing and diana. Tried the seaweed shaker fries... woah.. i'm loving it! LOL..

Reached Marina around 7 for BBQ steamboat.. but it was very crowded.. and so we go shifted to the far far end.. very sad huh.. even the food seems so far away. Created a few "new" dishes along the way.. haha.. but my chicken with egg was a failure. lol.. and BT took a lot of 'herbs' for the soup base.. haha.. and i can't remember who.. but someone said it was like watching "da chang jing".. wahahaa.. ya.. got the feel wor.. haha..

It was ktv after dinner.. haha.. actually feeling a bit nua 1.. coz wanted to go home to maple.. but then.. lol.. it's been a long time since i last went.. and i'm glad i didn't went home.. haha..

Singing was fun.. and for the first time.. time seems to pass by slowly.. it wasn't any bad singing.. and in fact, they sang very well.. haha.. especially Brad.. To the talant-time exco out there.. take note wor.. haha..

And special thanks to allan for giving me a lift home ^^ .. but too bad the cold showers spoilt the day.
